- I placed my bid at your site. However, I received no
acceptance from the seller within 48 hours. What's the matter?
If we do
not accept your bid we do not answer. Sorry. We will unlikely accept your bid
if it is less than amount indicated on the main page.
- What method of sale execution should I choose: Direct
Transfer or Escrow Transfer?
If you feel unsafe because you do not know
the seller personally you may choose to involve an independent third party
(escrow transfer). Your funds will be kept on an escrow account until you
confirm that you have received the domain name. However, escrow.com charges a
fee for its services. You will have to add $40 to your bid for covering the
international wire transfer fee. Additionally, escrow.com will charge 4% if you
pay by credit card and 1.25% for check and wire transfer payments. If you
choose direct transfer you will have a legally binding contract signed by
seller stating its double-sum money back liability.
- Can I pay by credit card?
Yes, you can, but only if
you choose escrow transfer as the execution method. We do not accept credit
cards, escrow.com does.
- I have submitted a bid for domain name, but you have added
additional $40 to price in escrow transaction. Why have I pay more?
Escrow charges $40 for release of funds to the Buyer via bank wire transfer.
This charge is not included in escrow fee, therefore it is added to purchase
price. It is a usual international wire transfer fee: if you pay directly to
our account it will be charged by your bank, if you pay via escrow it is being
charged by escrow.
- Will I receive full and sole control over the domain name in
the end of the transaction?
Yes, you will. You and only you will be
able to change administrative, technical , billing contacts, nameservers. In
most cases you will be able to change the owner of the domain online without
additional charge (subject to Registrar's rules). No third party will have
control over your domain. However, there is a special issue with domain
renewal. See next question.
- How do you pass control over the domain name to me?
We will send you authentication information along with the instructions how to
modify the domain name record. Please change the password/registry key as soon
as you can - this will ensure that you are the only person entitled to make
changes to the domain.
- How soon will I be able to use the domain name for e-mail,
web site etc.?
First you will have to set up nameservers for this
domain. Typically it can be done by purchasing web/e-mail hosting services from
the hosting provider. Your hosting provider will instruct you what nameservers
to use to make it all working. Then you must "redelegate" the domain name, i.
e. change its nameservers. In about 48 hours after that your domain must be
working for you.
- How will I renew the domain I bought?
After you
receive control over the domain you will continue working with the domain name
registrar or its reseller. You will have to follow their rules and rates in
renewing the domain name. To make you feel easy we suggest that we renew the
domain name for you for at least 3 years at a low rate of $20 per year. In any
time in future you can transfer your domain name to the registrar of your
choice.
- I am already using the services of register.com (Network
Solutions, BulkRegister, ...). Can we execute a domain transfer by simply
changing a registrar?
No, we can't. The obligations of the seller
finish when you receive control over the domain at its current registrar.
However, having received this control you are absolutely free to change
registrars.
- Do you provide web hosting or e-mail hosting?
No.
